What we can’t do.
A trustworthy company says where its limits are. These are ours.
- We can’t guarantee you are compliant.Our tools and advice support your compliance. They don’t certify you or replace legal advice.
- We can’t promise detection is perfect.Automatic redaction misses things, especially regional ID numbers and code-switched text today. A person must review before anything is shared.
- Not every product is on-device.Some products and our web tools use servers. The Products page says which.
- We don’t yet cover every ASEAN language.Malay, Khmer, Lao and Burmese are gaps in on-device translation today.
- We haven’t been independently audited.Our statements come from our own code review and will be checked by others only when we commission an audit.
- On-device is not magic.If your phone is lost, unlocked or compromised, local data is at risk. We rely on the protections of iOS and on you keeping the device secure.
