Our Story

Minimo AI was born from a unique vision: to combine European data protection standards with deep Asia-Pacific market understanding. Our journey began with recognizing a critical gap in the AI landscape - the need for solutions that truly understand the cultural, linguistic, and business nuances of Asia Pacific.

Founded by Jerome Sim with Malaysian root, Singapore educated, and extensive China experience, we established our headquarters in Estonia to leverage European GDPR standards while maintaining our strong presence across ASEAN markets.

Today, we stand as a bridge between two worlds - bringing the trust and reliability of European technology standards to the dynamic and diverse markets of Asia-Pacific, creating AI solutions that are both globally sophisticated and locally relevant.

Jerome Sim
Founder & CEO

Founder's Profile

Jerome Sim was born in Malaysia with Chinese heritage, nurtured in Singapore, and oriented towards the Asia Pacific market. He also holds Estonian e-residency. With over 15 years of experience in technology development, he graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and participated in exchange programs at Peking University and Zhejiang University City College. He also gained valuable experience through internships at multinational companies in Beijing and Shanghai.

After graduation, Jerome joined a leading Singapore-based multinational corporation as a Systems Consultant, contributing to key government and enterprise projects. He later founded Eurekaism Sdn Bhd, delivering app and web design and development solutions to over 100 clients across the Asia-Pacific region. He also explored new retail technology ventures under the brand Minimo Tech.

In late 2024, he founded Minimo AI, an AI startup registered in Estonia, dedicated to building on Minimo Tech's technological foundation to drive deep AI integration across industries and develop innovative, future-focused solutions.
